Ambitious Girl

I can imagine a lot of ambitious women are reading this right now.

A smart, ambitious girl born into a family without a trust fund, a family name, a savings account makes for a very different type of ambitious woman than the girl who is born into these things.

When you grow up with nothing, ambition and survival feelings become one.

The most grounded and myself I’ve ever felt in my life was when I had a two income household. Writing that makes me want to throw up.
