Hello,
I’m happy you’re here.
I wish you’d read more.
I won’t hold back on numbers there are over twenty-thousand of you reading this and under two thousand of you pay.
If even 5% more of you pay, my work will get better because half of my life won’t be stuck scrambling.
I’m offering a subscription deal today and this week while we all have time to read…
I am a forty-six year old writer, director and single mother of three adult children.
I have two NYT bestselling and Internationally bestselling books of essays published by Harper Collins.
My first film was set to premiere, night one of SXSW, but was cancelled due to covid. It is called Pink Skies Ahead and streams on Apple and Amazon. I was an on-set writer and actor in The Disaster Artist.
I receive absolutely no residuals for any of the works I have created.
Until my second film is cast, this is my current and only form of income and I rely on a few of you to toss me a coffee a month to pay my rent/three adult student children.
I hope you all have come out of the turbulence of this year feeling more capable than you have in past times.
I will continue to find fables in the every day and pass them to you.
Peace,
Kelly
Rooting for you always. We are lucky to have your words!
I buy a $6.99 80-pack of Tetley tea and pay for a subscription because Kelly tea is a priority. Thank you for writing / surviving / being brutally honest and hilar.
