Unfortunately, I cannot recall what my ex-husband’s costume or my costume was that year, and my memory is really good. Things can be so bad that you do Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind yourself naturally.
My husband and I were at the same Halloween party with the same large group of friends for the fourth year in a row. Nothing out of the ordinary was happening that day, we loved Halloween. We were getting drinks outside in a hedge maze with our friends, Busy and Marc. I remember what their costumes were: butchers from the high-end Fairfax District butcher shop Lindy & Grundy.
